Overview
The gradient beam DSP column speaker is designed through in-depth research on room acoustics and the propagation of sound waves in both vertical and horizontal directions. By incorporating advanced physical directional waveguides, it effectively suppresses unwanted side lobes and achieves precise directivity.
Horizontally, a combination of acoustic structure design and DSP processing forms three directional beams with different radiation angles, respectively covering the near, mid, and far fields. Each beam allows independent sound pressure adjustment, while near-field coverage can be flexibly fine-tuned through DSP to achieve horizontal directivity control—ensuring sound accurately projects toward the intended area.
Vertically, asymmetric radiation is achieved using advanced DSP algorithms with gradual delay processing of three beams, combined with a specially engineered acoustic structure. This generates a downward radiation angle with strong suppression of unwanted upward emissions, significantly reducing ceiling reflections and improving spatial sound uniformity. The result is enhanced direct sound coverage, improved clarity, and minimized blind spots—especially effective in reverberant environments.
Thanks to these innovations, the column speaker provides excellent speech intelligibility and anti-reverberation performance, making it ideal for spaces with long reverberation times. It is widely applied in large and medium-sized command centers, lecture halls, religious venues, airports, railway stations, lobbies, convention and exhibition centers, and museums.
Product features
• Directional Waveguide Technology – Suppresses unnecessary side lobes and delivers precise directivity.
• Horizontal Gradient Beam Technology – Creates three directional beams with adjustable sound pressure:
• Near field: 160° wide beam for close-range coverage.
• Mid field: 100° beam for balanced projection.
• Far field: 60° narrow beam for long-distance projection.
(Narrower beams project farther; wider beams provide broader but shorter coverage.)
• Variable Near-Field Directivity – DSP-controlled horizontal radiation adjustment allows targeted coverage while minimizing wall reflections and reducing reverberation, ensuring direct sound clarity.
• Asymmetric Vertical Radiation – DSP-driven gradual delay with a dedicated acoustic structure forms downward radiation, reduces ceiling reflections, and maintains consistent sound pressure with strong direct sound clarity—all without tilting the speaker.
• Dante Network Audio Input – Compatible with mainstream network audio transmission protocols.
• Flexible Input Options – Supports analog, digital, or mixed signal input.
• Network Management – Easily managed and configured through direct switch connection.
• Advanced DSP Processing – Includes beam control, 7-band EQ, high/low-pass filters, input level control, mute, presets (save & recall), and system settings via dedicated software with intuitive interface.
• Built-In Digital Amplifier – Multi-channel, high-stability amplification integrated into the system.
• High-Quality Drivers – Uses dedicated 3.5" full-range speakers for mid and far fields, and 2" full-range drivers for near field, ensuring scientific sound coupling with clear and transparent performance.
• Elegant Design – Slim wooden enclosure available in black or white, blending seamlessly into diverse architectural environments.
