The Gradient Beam DSP Column Speaker is engineered with advanced research on spatial acoustics, optimizing sound radiation in both horizontal and vertical planes. Physical directional waveguides suppress unwanted side lobes, ensuring precise sound directivity.
Horizontally, two directional beams cover near-field and far-field areas, with adjustable sound pressure levels. DSP control allows fine-tuning of near-field coverage for targeted horizontal projection, delivering clear sound exactly where needed.
Vertically, asymmetric radiation is achieved using DSP-driven gradual delay on the two beams combined with a specially designed acoustic structure. This creates a downward-focused radiation pattern, reduces ceiling reflections, and ensures uniform sound pressure and high clarity, even in reverberant environments.
Ideal for lecture halls, command centers, airports, stations, lobbies, exhibition halls, museums, and other large or medium-sized venues.
