    Overview


    The ISI85S is a high-performance digital infrared radiator designed for use in conference and simultaneous interpretation systems. It distributes audio signals via infrared light, allowing participants with compatible receivers to listen to proceedings in their chosen language. It is engineered for reliability, wide coverage, and seamless integration with standard-compliant systems.


    Product features


    • Standards Compliance: Fully compliant with international standards IEC 61603-7 and IEC 60914, as well as the Chinese national standard GB 50524-2010.

    • Broad Compatibility: Compatible with any other infrared interpretation system that adheres to the IEC 61603-7 standard.

    • Extended Coverage: A maximum radiation range of 76 meters, with support for cascading multiple units to cover larger spaces.

    • Intelligent Display & Control: Features an OLED display showing the real-time signal compensation value for precise setup.

    • Cable Delay Compensation: Allows technicians to set compensation values to account for signal delay caused by different cable lengths between the main transmitter and the radiator panels.

    • Dual Power Mode: A physical switch selects between Half Power and Full Power operation modes. The system automatically switches to half power if the unit's temperature becomes too high, ensuring safety and longevity.

    • Power Management: Includes an automatic standby mode when no audio signal is detected and can synchronize its power state (on/off) with the main transmitter unit.

    • Superior Coverage: Utilizes an arc-shaped structure of emission tubes with a wide radiation angle of ±25°, achieving a broad 145° coverage angle for even signal distribution.

    • Daylight Use: Designed to perform effectively even in well-lit conference rooms during the day.


    Control Panel & Indicators

    • Radiation LED: Indicates the presence of an input signal.

    • Output Power Selector Switch: Selects between Half and Full power modes.

    • OLED Display: Shows the current delay compensation value.

    • Delay Compensation Buttons (- / +): Used to adjust the cable delay compensation setting.


    Interconnections

    • HF Input & Output Connectors (2 x BNC): Used to connect the unit to the transmitting host and to daisy-chain ("hand-in-hand") additional infrared radiation units, expanding the system's coverage.
